“In the wake of the Sandy Hook tragedy, I've been more than aware of the safety concerns around us. As I was walking in to pick Markella up last week, a teacher was walking out. I was about to enter my code in the panel. I believe she knows me-by face, anyway. Still, she closed the door, prompting me to put in my code. She smiled and said, 'We have to make sure the children are safe.' I was so HAPPY that the 'door rule' is being reinforced.

This was a very important act to me and I hope that actions like these are followed way into the new year and indefinitely. As you know, it's hard for parents to leave their children behind and we count on the grown ups in your facility to do their best to keep them safe. This helped reinforce that these rules are being taken seriously at Tutor Time and it was much appreciated. I hope you can share this with your staff. As far as I'm concerned, even though it may seem uncomfortable to close the door on anyone, when it's done with a smile and an explanation, it's more than okay!

“I have been meaning to write this for awhile now. Tutor Time of Lindenhurst has been a Godsend for our family. We have a four year old and a two year old and they both go here. They love it, and so do we! The teachers and staff are so caring. It is wonderful to know I am dropping my kids off every day in a place they are excited to be. My son was barely speaking when he started here...now he has learned so many words and is making so much progress. My daughter loves all the activities and crafts that she does in class, as well as out. She takes ice skating upstairs at the center -- an opportunity she wouldn't have anywhere else. My husband and I both work in the city, so our hours are long. At Tutor Time, the staff will bring my daughter upstairs to have a skating lesson, and then she goes back downstairs until we can pick her up. Once skating is over, she plans to do gymnastics. I love that she is afforded the opportunity to do these things even though I am not there to drive her back and forth to lessons. Everything is on-site, which is wonderful.

The center also encourages families to get to know each other through events such as Thanksgiving dinner (the Thursday before Thanksgiving) and Family Time Fitness. I am currently taking a bootcamp class upstairs three times a week, and that has been fantastic!

Tutor Time of Lindenhurst is brand new and beautiful, the staff and teachers are wonderful people who care about the children and, according to my kids, the food is great. I couldn't be happier with the programs and opportunities my children are being exposed to here.

They are so accomodating, my daughter goes there 2 days a week, but if i do need that extra day or 2 they will accommodate any need's. My daughter is 19 months old and she just loves going to her class. She used to be so shy and cry around everybody, but I feel as though Tutor Time has opened my daughter's personality to better herself. She is more talkative around people and she enjoys having company over. She just loves to play with the other kids in her class. There are times when I go to pick her up and she does not want to leave. She learns so much being there and it has made a big impact on her. “My son has been with Tutor Time Oakdale (Same owners as the Lindenhurst location- Beltrani) since he was 7 months old. Now that he will be turning 3 years old in September of this year (2011), and since this new location in Lindenhurst is almost right around the corner from where we live, it made perfect sense for us to transition him to the Lindenhurst location. We were all treated like family in the Oakdale Tutor Time, so it was tough to leave, however we also knew the same owners were creating this beautiful center in Lindenhurst, so we felt rest assured that the safety and education standards as well as the warm "like-home" culture would be the same.

It is now the 3rd week that Lindenhurst is open and my son is adjusting nicely. The facility is gorgeous, clean and safe, equipted with amazing teachers, nutritious food and snacks and some of the most educational learning tools and toys we have ever seen. My son LOVES his new teachers (so do we!) and is making new friends while still connects with his buddies in his former location. In addition to his day filled with play and projects, his amazing teachers are working with him to potty train!
The standards we found in Oakdale are right here in Lindenhurst as well.

As a mother, all I can say is this; I am truly grateful that I don't ever have my heart in my throat when leaving my child in the morning at "drop off." I know he is safe and secure, and that the priority of the team at Tutor Time is my child and every child's welfare.
I can also say, that as my husband and I work, my child LEARNS. Since our son began Tutor Time at 7 months old, he now knows all of his letters, numbers, shapes, colors and most animals. He is well-adjusted socially and has a vocabulary that surprises even us, and he is not even 3 years old yet. This is due to the wonderful and talented care-givers we have been fortunate enough to meet and work with. It's not just we, the parents. Sure, we reinforce what he is taught in the daytime, during evenings/weekends, but it is these highly qualified and certified teachers that do the tough work everyday, all day long. You will find any of these same high standards at any of the Beltrani-owned locations.

As working parents, my husband and I wish we could spend full-time together with our son, but until we hit the lottery and no longer need to work, we are truly grateful there is a Tutor-Time that can provide him all of these amazing benefits which has already given him a great foundation for his already amazing life!

“Thank you so very much to all the staff at Tutor Time for throwing our son Anthony one of the best birthday parties ever! When Anthony was asked what he wanted for his 4th birthday party, he wanted to have a "Halloween" party more than anything. Anthony was sad that so many of his friends missed Halloween because of Superstorm Sandy, and he wanted everyone to get a chance to wear their costumes. However, decorating our house for a Halloween party would be difficult in the middle of December (Anthony was born a few days before Christmas.) Hosting the party at Tutor Time was the best decision we could have made! Planning the party with the Tutor Time staff was so easy - they had a lot of great ideas and knew exactly what would keep a bunch of four year olds entertained. They also easily accomodated my ideas for incoporating the Halloween theme into the party. On the day of the party, it was a total success! The kids had so much fun during the Halloween Parade, and loved playing with the parachute and hula hoops during the dance party. The kids even got to go "trick or treating" from the staff as they left the party. Best of all, it truly touched our hearts that all the staff dressed up in their own Halloween costumes that day, too! We cannot thank all of you enough, and we have already recommended to other parents we know that they consider using Tutor Time for their child's next birthday party. We're looking forward to other parties in the years to come!”

“The best thing about Tutor Time is the people. My daughter absolutely loves her teachers, past and present. This is the second year that my daughter is attending Tutor Time. After we enrolled her in the summer of 2011, we decided to ease the transition by having her attend a few days prior to the beginning of the new school year. Once the school year began she was fortunate to have two very caring and nurturing teachers. Elizabeth blossomed under their care and found such joy in her time at Tutor Time. The following school year, we chose not to send her prior to the first day of the new school year. “On March 4, 2012 we had my daughters Alyssa’s 4th birthday party at Tutor Time. This was our first attempt at an outside (other than home based) birthday party for her and it was a HUGE success. Any questions that I had when I booked the part, up until the day of, and the day of the party were answered quickly and accurately. The day of the party everyone – guests and birthday girl – had a great time. They used the indoor playground, the dance/gymnastics room, and the party area. The staff was wonderful, helpful, energetic, and extremely knowledgeable to the age that they were working with. Tutor Time itself was clean, spacious, and very safe (mats on the floor, on playground, etc). The price was unbeatable and at the end of the day my daughter had an amazing party with her friends!!! I would highly recommend Tutor Time of Lindenhurst for any party and we are also hoping to enroll her in September for preschool.”
